They think they are causing terror, but they are taking innocent lives and making orphans, is not terror – it is their foolishness and lack of proper education. They may be fed to do that, but we should be the ones who are promote peace. Let’s walk on the path to Peace without any fear. Let us say that loudly “I, as a human, will never promote any such violent activities”. The terrorism has grown as a cancer around our society. It is the time to remember and educate our youngsters about the importance of Peace and non-violence.
SIGNIFICANCE
OF ANTI-TERRORISM DAY
The main
purpose of observing the anti-terrorism day is that, to spread the importance of
global peace and non-violence and stop our youngsters from following the
terrorist practices and being miss - leaded.
During Anti-Terrorism Day India honours the
sacrifices which is made by thousands of soldiers who fought bravely against
terrorism. India will be using this day to pay tribute to those soldiers who had
given their lives in terrorist attacks.

HISTORY OF ANTI-TERRORISM DAY
On May
21 Anti-Terrorism Day is observed across India. This date is opted to honour
the memory of India’s past Prime Minister Shri Rajiv Gandhi who was killed on
May 21 in a terrorist attack.
WHAT DO PEOPLE DO ON ANTI-TERRORISM DAY?
On
Anti-Terrorism Day, a pledge will be taken in all government offices,
Institutions and in other public organisations. And awareness programs will be
conducted on what should you do if you came across any such activities.
