 Quitting from smoking is very hard . For stops your smoking you must be very determined person. I have seen many people decided to stop smoking and they light up the next cigarette in very first day itself or immediate future. If you are able to stop your smoking there are many health benefits awaiting for you . There are immediate as well as long-term health benefits of quitting. WITHIN 20 MINUTES, The journey starts..

8 HOURS , passed first difficult quarter

By 8 hrs, your carbon monoxide level and nicotine level in your blood will be reduced to half.  Carbon monoxide is a chemical in cigarettes, and it reduce the ability of oxygen carry capacity of Red blood cells. You can distract yourself from theses cravings by involving in interesting things until you pass this feeling passes. You can get rid of it buy chewing Gum and sipping water, but what I have found effective is pepper keep some whole dried whole pepper in pocket if you feel cravings then chew 1 or 2 of these.

Some people thought that my age is over and there is nothing left if i stops now. But it is not true, people of all age group can taste the fruit of quitting. All people gets the benefits . Actually it is said that it is never be late to start . You can quit at any age and can get the benefits .

At around 30: gain almost 10 years of life expectancy.
At around 40: gain 9 years of life expectancy.
At around 50: gain 6 years of life expectancy.
At around 60: gain 3 years of life expectancy.
After the onset of life-threatening disease: rapid benefit, people who quit smoking after having a first heart attack reduces their chances of having another heart attack by 50%.

People of all ages who have already having smoking-related health problems can still benefit from quitting.

Quitting smoking decreases the excess risk of numerous diseases related to second-hand smoke in children, such as respiratory diseases (e.g., asthma) and ear infections.

Quitting smoking reduces the chances of impotence for both male and female, having difficulty getting pregnant, having premature births, babies with low birth weights and miscarriage.
