to raise awareness about laughter and its various healing benefits. Also the
celebration of World Laughter Day intends to build up a global realization of
unity and friendship through laughter.
Laughter won’t heal or solve anything, but it can help to
heal and dissolve everything.

LAUGHTER DAY HISTORY
World Laughter Day was celebrated since May 10, 1998 in India,
which was proposed by Dr. Madan Kataria, founder
of the worldwide Laughter Yoga movement.
LAUGHTER YOGA
One of the main objectives of Dr. Kataria’s for Laughter Yoga
is to promote world peace through laughter. By practicing Laughter Yoga, it
helps the body to discharge definite ‘Feel Good’ hormones into the bloodstream associated
to feelings of happiness, warmth, unconditional love, bonding, tolerance,
forgiveness, generosity, and compassion.
It does not involve yoga poses; it’s the yoga of breath and little movements. Laughing promotes healing and having fun through
