22 ,Earth day ,a day to raise awareness
for environmental protection and
it began 1970. In 1969, San
Francisco activist John McConnel proposed a day to honor the Earth and the concept of peace.On that it
was celebrated on april 21st the first day of spring in the northern
hemisphere. Later one separate day was proposed by Wisconsin Senator Gaylord
Nelson ,which was first
held on April 22, 1970.
